Purpose

 Evaluate the effect of Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) and Latanoprost on daytime tension curve or diurnal IOP fluctuations.

method

 Open Angle Glaucoma (OAG) and patients with Ocular Hypertension (OHT) were recruited into two groups - Laser / Latanoprost. Pre and post treatment daytime tension curve was plotted.

Preliminary Results

 Following treatment IOP fluctuation reduced from 6.90 ± 2.73 mmHg to 3.20 ± 1.32 mmHg and from 6.40 ± 1.26 mmHg to 1.70 ± 0.95 mmHg in the SLT and Latanoprost group respectively.

Conclusion

SLT and Latanoprost significantly reduced IOP and IOP fluctuations.
